Team LottoNL-Jumbo to debut at Tour Down Under

The team equipped with Oltre XR4, Specialissima, Infinito CV and Aquila CV will be in the action in Australia on January 17th-22nd

The World Tour #teamlottonljumbo, equipped by #bianchi with four Countervail family bikes, will make its seasonal debut at Tour Down Under, six-stage race to be held in Australia on January 17th-22nd. The team's captain will be Robert Gesink, starting his road to the Tour de France and Tour of California, where he is supposed to be team's leader. Bert-Jan Lindeman, Enrico Battaglin, Alexey Vermeulen, Robert Wagner, Koen Bouwman and Paul Martens complete the roster.
The seven-man squad for the Tour Down Under will then compete in the WorldTour one-day "Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race" in Geelong (Australia) on Sunday, January 29.
KRUIJSWIJK'S RECCE ON GF BIANCHI-GIMONDI COURSE
Meanwhile, on Saturday January 7th, Steven Kruijswik went on a recce on the roads of the Granfondo Internazionale Bianchi-Gimondi to be held on May 7th, 2017. Supplied with Oltre XR4, Kruijswijk was led by Felice Gimondi (in the team car) and Beppe "Turbo" Guerini, both former pros from Bergamo. The inspection was set up by GF Bianchi-Gimondi's organizer Giuseppe Manenti. The Dutchman also got to know Selvino and Boccola's climbs to be tackled in next Giro d'Italia's 15th stage on May 21st, with finish in Bergamo.
