Jordan brand and New Orleans will shine during all-star week
During All-Star Week, #jordanbrand is celebrating its history with New Orleans which dates back to Michael Jordan nailing the Carolina game-winning shot of the 1982 collegiate National Championship game at the Superdome.
Thirty-five years later, the brand captures the spirit of that iconic moment by giving the Big Easy a series of new moments to shine. Throughout basketball’s mid-season spectacular, the brand will energize the community of New Orleans with exclusive product unveils and a host of unique experiences at its pinnacle brand activations.
JORDAN ALL-STAR COLLECTION
In honor of the weekend’s event, the Jordan All-Star Collection features an iridescent material on a trio of iconic silhouettes.
JORDAN BRAND INVITATIONAL
On Thursday, February 16, the second annual #jordanbrand Invitational shines a spotlight on top local and national basketball players with an elite double header at St. Augustine High School. A pep rally will take place at the high school the day before and will feature entertainment and local high school bands.
JORDAN ATHLETES IN ALL-STAR GAME
Jordan Brand family members #jimmybutler, #kawhileonard, #kembawalker, and #russellwestbrook will all have the opportunity to shine on All-Star weekend’s global stage.
