In 1946 a new team joined the world of Italian professional cycling, sporting red jerseys emblazoned with the halberd of Saint Sergius – almost like a national flag.
Soon after, the bicycle mechanic Pietro Dal Molin created a new racing bike, naming it #wiliertriestina.
Its unmistakeable copper colouring – immediately protected under patent – became the company’s calling card for many years to come.
Now, after decades of advances and technological innovation, the company is back to turning heads with its trademark colour, applying it to a very special range of new carbon-fibre bikes.
