Dainese presents the 2018 winter sports collection with lines designed for high performance and styles suited for beyond the piste

Italian protection brand #dainese winter sports product range for the upcoming season will be showcased at #ispo 2018, held in Munich, Germany from January 28th to January 31st, in Hall B2 Booth 203.

Dainese presents the new outwear collections for AWA (“All Weather Activity), HP1 and HP2 (“Hard Pack”), and launches a head-to-toe-collection SCARABEO, specifically designed to meet the needs of up and coming youth skiers. #dainese also unveils two new innovations within their extensive safety line.

“This season, we improved our ski offering by mainly focusing on the ladies’ collection,” explains Art Director Renato Montagner. “The idea is to introduce modernity, sophistication and style. Not only has the sports’ scene changed a lot, but also the way people enjoy outdoor activities, moving from what is strictly performance-oriented to a wider interpretation, which leaves room to sensations and emotions. HP – “hardpack”, still speaks the #dainese original language connected to performance, whereas, with AWA - “All Weather Activity”, this year we concentrated in finding an innovative solution for women that would like to approach skiing and mountain resorts not only with technical features, but also with a new style, what we call Modern Performance”.

AWA

Dainese presents AWA (All Weather Activity), a creative concept collection that is deliberately cross-functional, starting from an innovative functional design philosophy that brings together pioneering technologies for all weather conditions.

The newest addition to the collection is the AWA L1.1.

HP1

This is the kingdom of HP - the “hardpack” where garments are specifically designed to address the needs of skiers who strive for performance. The new HP1 RC ‘Race Carve’ jacket says it all, highlighting its focus on maximum performance and technique.

SAFETY

The CE EN 1621.2 Level 2 certified PRO ARMOR waistcoat back protector is developed for those skiers who don’t want to compromise on safety. The highly acclaimed Compasso d’Oro award winning #dainese Pro-Armor technology has evolved from the asphalt with #dainese motorbikes and now to the ski slopes.

The D-Brid helmet is perfect for those who want to ski down the slopes with style, while still meeting the highest safety standards.

SCARABEO

Dainese continues to expand its extensive collections to now provide outwear, protection and helmets for youth ranging between 8-14yr olds that are dedicated to the slopes.
