President Toyoda comment on Shoma Uno winning silver medal at PyeongChang 2018

"Congratulations to #shomauno, one of the athletes competing for Japan who is also an employee of #Toyota, for winning the silver medal at PyeongChang 2018.

It is hard to imagine the pressure he felt as the final competitor after seeing all his rivals perform, and as he was feeling all the expectations from his fans, at his first Olympic Games.

So it was quite awesome to see him convert all this pressure into a spectacular performance at that critical moment.

Stepping on the podium together with his idol; this must be the view that only #people overcoming their own challenge can see.

Thank you again for the great news which touched #people all over the world."
