Since the All-Star game was first played in 1951, basketball’s annual talent showcase has evolved from a single game to a weekend of court culture, a practice which blossomed during Michael Jordan’s 14 appearances and has persisted since His Airness’ retirement. This year the #jordanbrand, in connection with Toronto native and #jordanbrand family member Drake, commemorates this yearly melding with the launch of the Jordan X OVO collection, which joins the iconic Jumpman with OVO’s hallmark owl.
“We are thrilled to partner with Drake and OVO to bring this collection to life,” says Larry Miller, #jordanbrand President. “The #jordanbrand has always stood for greatness, and Drake represents that for us in the music world so it was important to us to bring this partnership to life through product for this amazing weekend."
The Jordan X OVO collection, which hits retail outlets in Canada and Los Angeles this week, joins the Jordan legacy and distinct styling of OVO. Each piece in the black and white-based line features the iconic Jumpman along with the OVO’s hallmark owl.
FOOTWEAR
The Jordan X OVO collection reimagines the classic Air Jordan X. Done in OVO’s classic black and gold colors, the AJ X features a faux stingray material that provides an elevated look for the lateral side of the shoe. The OVO owl logo appears on the sockliner, while a gold Jumpman sits in its traditional heel location.

APPAREL
The apparel offering in the Jordan X OVO collection consists of a traditional Air Jordan sweatsuit and a brand new velour suit.
The Jordan fleece hoodie and pant come in black with gold accents. An oversized Jumpman on the chest of the hoodie is complimented on the pant by a Jumpman and owl logo lock up.
The pant and hoodie of the Jordan velour suit are embellished with a Jumpman logo.
The collection also includes a white baseball cap with the gold Jumpman on the front and gold owl on the side and a black beanie with the gold logos on opposite sides. A Jordan x OVO duffel complements the entire collection.
The Jordan x OVO apparel collection launches this Saturday, February 13, at OVO Flagship stores in Toronto and LA, @octobersveryown.com, 306 Yonge, and Jordan.com.
