Nike announces its breaking2 race window

Nike will target the first weekend of May for its attempt to break the two-hour marathon barrier. The race will take place in the Autodromo Nazionale Monza complex outside of Monza, Italy.

While the event will be closed to the public, anyone can experience the excitement by tuning into Nike’s live pre-race show and stream of the attempt, both of which will be hosted by Sal Masekela and include commentary from #nike athletes. Stay tuned for specifics on how to access these programs.

Nike and Airbnb are partnering to present a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 10 #people to witness Breaking2 in person. Winners will spend the weekend immersed in the best of #nike #running at a campsite adjacent to the racetrack. For more information and how to enter to win, go here.
