Land Rover Takes the Lions Off Road in the All New Discovery

Lions star and Land Rover ambassador James Haskell is no stranger to challenging situations on the pitch but relished the opportunity to test his skills in the All New #discovery and get to grips with the unique New Zealand terrain. It turns out there are some similarities between the country and its #rugby teams, “whenever you play against the New Zealand teams, you have to keep your wits about you and stay focused. The same is true with the off road driving the players and I took part in. There were plenty of exciting moments during the off road driving but there were also plenty of challenging parts to it.”

“The tracks we got to explore with Land Rover kept the players focussed on the challenge at hand, which is certainly something we will be taking into the next matches. The upcoming #rugby games are going to take every ounce of concentration, and to get to hone this skill away from the training field has been really useful."

Land Rover has a heritage in supporting #rugby at all levels; from grassroots to elite, with the British & Irish Lions tour to New Zealand Land Rover’s seventh time supporting the team. Land Rover not only understands #rugby but shares some of the sports key values or resilience, integrity, and passion.
