Resilience was the story of the week for the Belgian, as she defeated Vera Zvonareva, Iga Światek and Kateryna Kozlova before registering an incredible come-from-behind win in her semifinal matchup with No. 5 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova. Van Uytvanck saved an impressive five #match points in the semifinal bout with Alexandrova and defeated the Russian in a thrilling third set tiebreak 7-6(7). Van Uytvanck trailed a set in each of her final three matches and saved her best for last, rallying off three impressive serves from a break point down to seal the championship #match over Vondrousova.
