Boston, MA – March 23, 2022 – New Balance is proud to officially announce the #newbalance Nationals Outdoor Championships in 2022. This new annual #event showcases the very best of US high school track and field and will offer strong #competition after 3,600 student athletes competed and 5 national records were broken at the #newbalance Nationals Indoor Championship held at the #newbalance Track and Field Center at The Armory in NYC earlier this month. This year, NBNO will be held at the University of Pennsylvania's historic Franklin Field from June 16 to 19, 2022. The Armory Team, who produced NBNI, will be back to ensure a smooth, exciting experience for all the athletes in attendance at NBNO.

With a storied 125-year history of hosting elite track and field, Franklin Field offers an unparalleled experience for high school athletes. Franklin Field is the oldest two-tiered stadium in the country and has played host to presidential speeches, professional football games and college championships.

“We are thrilled to be able to host the #newbalance Nationals Outdoor Championships at Franklin Field” said #andydownin, Senior Manager of Community and Events at #newbalance. “Hosting this one-of-a-kind #event at Franklin Field allows #newbalance to continue to provide an unrivaled athlete focused experience for future world record holders and world champions to compete at the highest level of our #sport.”
