Congratulations to FILA Tennis Athlete Karolina Pliskova for Reaching the US Open Finals
(FILA Global) - Congratulations to #fila sponsored athlete #karolinapliskova, for reaching the women's singles finals at the 2016 US Open. Pliskova joined the #fila family earlier this year, and this marked her first career trip to a Grand Slam final. Pliskova's impressive run in New York City included a semifinal round win over top-seeded Serena Williams.
Pliskova’s successful Grand Slam journey was preceded by a victory at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati last month, where she captured the women’s singles title, her first WTA premier title.
Throughout the US Open, Pliskova was dressed in the #fila #tennis Heritage collection on-court, as well as the company's performance #tennis shoe, the Cage Delirium.
