Last season, in #partnership with scientists at Loughborough University, #nissan launched their Excitement Index by conducting live ‘excitement experiments’ on football fans during six #uefachampionsleague matches. Fans were fitted with wearable technology to monitor and gather data, including: heart rate, breathing rate and electro-dermal activity, to examine the physiological effect excitement has on them. This data was then combined with official match statistics from Opta to develop a scientific formula*, now at the heart of the #nissan Excitement Index.
