Top ten from the beginning for Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team and Dalla Porta at Portimao
It was a positive start to the weekend for the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team, with #lorenzodallaporta immediately hitting the top ten in the combined standings of the two free practice sessions held at Portimao.
In the morning the Tuscan rider took to the track for FP1, where - despite a crash without consequences in turn 10 - he finished ninth, with 16 laps put in. A good base from which to start, as witnessed by the fifth place conquered by Lorenzo in FP2, just a few tenths from the top of the standings.
With the first day of action over with a smile, the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha is ready for another Saturday of #racing. At 11.25 CET it will be time for Superpole, where Dalla Porta will be chasing a good position on the starting grid, while at 16.15 CET the lights will go out for Race 1, which will last over 17 laps.

"The day went well, as lap after lap we managed to improve. We still have margin, but we can already feel satisfied: now we have to continue on this road, to get a good result already in Race 1. The crash was a pity: I was pushing and I lost the front, but these things can happen".
